SHARON KRESS, owner of 19th St.Salon & Spa.  Sharon founded 19th St. Salon & Spa along with her husband, William, in April of 1997.  Sharon has been a stylist since January of 1995.  Sharon is a cosmetologist and esthetician, as well as owner.

RHONDA MOTEN is a master designer and the manager of 19th St. Salon & Spa's stylists.  Rhonda has been a cosmotologist since 1996.  Rhonda has worked at 19th St. Salon & Spa since May of 1998. 

ALISS LAGASSE is a senior stylist that trained at the American Academy of Hair Design in Topeka, Kansas.  She has been a part of the 19th St. Salon & Spa team since 2005.  Her fun-loving personality translates into a trusting and open client-stylist relationship.  Aveda continuing education allows Aliss to offer her clients the latest in style, technique, and color trends.  She focuses on creating the perfect hair style for each client and then tops it off with a fresh color design.  For inspiration, Aliss loves fashion and traveling.  Travel is always the energizer Aliss turns to when needing rejuvenated.  Aliss specializes in color, foil placement, haircuts, updos, hair texturing, organic body hair removal, and personal airbrush tanning.  She also provides natural nail manicures and pedicures.

MEGAN GORE received her cosmetology education from Z Hair Academy, Lawrence Ks.
She has been a licensed cosmetologist since January 2007.  Megan has always loved Aveda products and is thrilled to be working in an Aveda Concept Salon.  She is very passionate about the Aveda hair color line.  Megan loves giving clients a new confidence when giving a new style to smile about!  Megan specializes in hair color, hair cuts, natural nail services, and facial hair removal.

WHITNEY SNELLING received her cosmetology education from The Aveda Institute of San Antonio in 2006.  She has worked in other Aveda salons in Kansas City and has relocated to Topeka.  She is now employed at 19th St. Salon & Spa as a senior stylist. 

Tiya Jewell Stanley is our Certified Massage Therapist.  She graduated from the Rehabilitative Institute in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2005.  Tiya's major is in Sports Massage, including training and certification the following:  Myofascial Integration Technique for the entire body, Active Isolated Stretching, Standing Structural Analysis, Hydrotherapy, and Deep Tissue.  She is also trained and certified in Spa modalities such as Swedish, Esalen, Reflexology, Hot Stone massage, Chair massage, and Aveda trained in Aveda Body Treatments.

Candice (Candi) Oehlert, our Esthetician, is originally from Wichita where she attended Xenon International School of Hair Design, Esthetic Program in 2005.  She is well-trained in facials, hair removal, and makeup application.  She has worked with Aveda skincare in her previous years, as well as here at 19th St. Salon & Spa.  Candice has received extensive training with Aveda educators, including Facial Fundamentals and Brow Design.
