19th St. Salon & Spa uses "Personal Touch" airbrushing.  Get an immediate tan or bronzing!  It's safe.  There are no UV rays which are present from the sun or tanning beds.  Doctors recommend not using tanning beds or laying out in the direct sun because of the danger of skin cancer.  The sun and tanning beds causes damaged skin that will especially show in one's appearance in your thirties and later years. 

For best results, we recommend that you exfoliate your skin before your first airbrush tanning.  It's best if your skin is moist from prior use of moisturizer.  However, do not use a moisturizer within 6 hours before or after the airbrush tanning service.  Also, never shower or get overheated within 6 hours after your airbrush service, as you will diminish the effect of the service.  We cannot be responsible for these incidences.  You will maintain your tan longer if, after the 6 hours, you begin moisturizing often.  Moisture reduces sloughing of the skin, therefore, extends the appearance of your tan.  For BEST results, we recommend purchasing Aveda Smoothing for exfoliation, and Aveda Body Replenisher for moisture after the 6 hour wait time.
